ThisHomestead Block with walnut top is a modern and elegant kitchen island by John Boos. Withstraight lines throughout and clean white base, the Homestead Block truly pops out with its spectacular 5 inch thick walnut top. Crafted from 5 inch thick strips of American Black walnut, the end grain assembly creates both a working surface that is superior for cutting and chopping while highlightingbeautiful patterns of walnut face grain in earthen and chocolate tones.

The alabaster painted base is solidly built and comprised of American hard rock maple. The apron skirting hides a pull out drawer, which is seamlessly hidden in plain sight to preserve the clean edge, while the lower shelf gives the option of storage or displaying of home ornaments.

Built by John Boos & Co, the Homestead Block is a fine kitchen island in the American Heritage Collection and represents over 125 years of American woodworking.

One year warranty from John Boos and recommended monthly maintenance with Boos board cream to preserve the life of wood tops.
