The John Boos Rustica Island is a wonderful kitchen island or table that showcases a cherry butcher block top and a classic alabaster base. The impressive end grain top is made with John Boos' famous butcher block construction and is solidly built top of pure American cherry. Finished with food safe oil and beeswax, the wood top is safe for direct cutting and chopping.

The Rustica includes a dovetailed drawer (two drawers on the 48" model) and has the option for a solid cherry wood lower shelf. These options provide plenty of storage room for kitchen accessories and other tools.The turned maple legs show careful attention to detail and also create a charming classic look.

Built totally in the US by John Boos and is protected by a one year warranty. Maintain the wood top with cutting board oil or board cream every 5 to 6 weeks.
