A Moc Toe Boot for Rugged Daily Style

The Chasseur 8173 takes the familiar moc toe work boot profile and gives it a softer, more textured expression through WHANAM Roughout Suede. The U-shaped toe seam, high shaft, leather laces, brass-tone eyelets, and white wedge-style outsole create a strong heritage workwear look without making the boot feel overly formal.

This boot is designed for daily wear, casual outdoor styling, and rugged workwear-inspired outfits. It works especially well with cuffed denim, canvas jackets, overshirts, field layers, and vintage utility pieces.

WHANAM Roughout Suede, with Horween CF2 Upgrade Available

The standard leather is WHANAM Roughout Suede, chosen for its textured surface, relaxed outdoor feel, and natural compatibility with moc toe work boot styling. Compared with smooth leather, roughout suede has a softer visual tone and feels more casual with denim, canvas, and heritage layers.

Horween CF2 leather is available as an upgraded leather option. Choose WHANAM Roughout Suede for the classic textured suede character, or choose Horween CF2 if you prefer an upgraded leather selection.

Default Italy VIBRAM® Christy 377K Sole

The Chasseur 8173 uses the Italy VIBRAM® Christy 377K Form Rubber Sole as its default outsole. This is not an optional upgrade on this product. The wedge-style sole supports everyday comfort, practical traction, and a lighter outdoor-workwear look than a heavy lug sole.

Important sole note: Italy VIBRAM® Christy 377K Form Rubber Sole is the standard outsole for this product. It should not be treated as an optional sole upgrade.

This product uses a standard last and standard fit. It does not include E or EE width options. Because boots can feel roomier than sneakers, final sizing should be confirmed by measured foot length rather than sneaker size alone.

Care Notes

Brush the roughout suede regularly with a suede brush to remove surface dust and restore the texture. If the boots become damp, let them dry naturally at room temperature before brushing. Use suede-safe protection spray carefully and test on a hidden area first.
