A white plant watering jug is either the safest or the boldest choice in the Duenas range, depending on whether your shelves already have color. On a terracotta-and-green plant shelf it disappears; against dark wood it sharpens every edge. The Duenas in white is fifteen inches of porcelain, handleless and long-spouted, built to pour slowly and stay on the counter without demanding attention or pretending it isn't there.

The exterior glaze is matte white and the interior is sealed smooth — a pairing that keeps the outside tactile and the inside free of the mineral staining that haunts unlined vessels after months of hard water. Forty ounces per fill, a spout that reaches into deep pots without bending leaves, and proportions narrow enough to sit between a pepper grinder and a cookbook without claiming territory. Five colors in the Duenas family, and the white is the one that plays well with every other color already in the room.
