Hand one to a student who earns it. The king for a tournament win, the queen for a promotion they saw coming three moves out, the knight for the fork nobody else spotted. Kids clip them to backpacks and keep them long after the season ends.

Buy in quantity and the price drops as you go. Discounts start at two and deepen through five, ten, twenty, thirty, fifty, and a hundred, so stocking a prize box for the whole season costs less than filling it a few at a time.

A real turned wood chess piece, not a charm shaped like one. The king stands a full three inches, with the same profile and collar you would find on a tournament set. The knight is carved with a mane and a bridle line.

Choose your piece. King, queen, or knight, each in natural or black.
