This is the cuff that started it for so many of our customers. The Hammered Classic Copper Cuff is one of the earliest designs to come out of our family studio in Oklahoma, and years later it's still one of our all-time best sellers. It's a copper cuff bracelet, hammered by hand by Cherokee artists, with a texture that catches the light every time you move.
We kept it simple on purpose. There are no stones and no symbols, just good copper and honest handwork. That simplicity is why it works for everyone. Men and women both wear it, every day or dressed up, alone or stacked with other Cherokee Copper cuffs.
Copper has a long history in the Southeast, where ancestral peoples hammered it into ornaments and gorgets centuries ago. We carry that tradition forward the same way: by hand, one piece at a time. The Hammered Classic Cuff is our most straightforward expression of that work. It's the metal, the hammer, and the maker. When you wear it, you're wearing something made by a Cherokee family, not a factory.
Is this cuff solid copper?
Yes. It's solid copper, hand-hammered in our Oklahoma studio.
Will it fit my wrist?
The open-back design gently adjusts to fit most wrists. Bend it slowly and only a little at a time.
Will copper turn my skin green?
For some people, yes. Copper can leave a harmless green mark that washes off with soap and water. Keeping the cuff and your skin dry helps.
Is it for men or women?
Both. It's one of our most popular unisex pieces.
Does copper jewelry have health benefits?
We don't make health or healing claims about any of our jewelry. We make copper jewelry because copper is beautiful, durable, and part of a long Southeastern tradition.
Who makes Cherokee Copper jewelry?
Our pieces are handmade by Cherokee artist Greg Stice and our family in our studio near Tulsa, Oklahoma. Learn more at cherokeecopper.com.
