📏 Size Guide

Approximate overall dimensions:

23 cm L × 23 cm W × 23 cm H
9.06 × 9.06 × 9.06 inches

Please remember these are the external measurements. The interior sleeping area and entrance are smaller.

Choosing the Right Size

Before ordering, measure your pet and compare their size with the dimensions above.

Your pet should be able to:

Enter without squeezing through the opening
Turn around comfortably
Lie down in a natural position
Leave the hideaway easily

Please don't select this bed based solely on the supplier's suggested species. Individual animals vary considerably in size.

🐹 Who Is This Hideaway Suitable For?

This compact bed is particularly suited to hamsters and other appropriately sized small pets.

Although similar products are sometimes advertised for guinea pigs, chinchillas, dwarf rabbits and ferrets, we don't believe species alone is a reliable way to determine fit.

Please use your individual pet's measurements instead. 💜

☁️Soft & Snuggly Fleece

Made from polyester fleece, the hideaway has a soft-touch surface designed to create a comfortable resting environment.

Its enclosed cave shape can make a particularly lovely retreat during autumn and winter when pets may appreciate somewhere cosy to settle.

🦇 A Little Halloween Fun for Small Pets

Dogs and cats shouldn't get all the seasonal goodies. 😂

The grey bat design brings Halloween into your small pet's space without requiring them to wear a costume or anything restrictive.

The ears, little wings, cartoon eyes and tiny fangs give it plenty of character while the neutral grey colour means it can still look surprisingly cute in the home.

🧼 Care Instructions

To help keep your pet's hideaway looking and feeling fresh:

Remove loose fur, hay or bedding regularly
Spot clean small marks when possible
For a deeper clean, gently wash using mild pet-safe detergent
Allow to air dry thoroughly before returning it to your pet
Avoid harsh bleach or strong cleaning products

Always ensure the hideaway is completely dry before use.

⚠️ Small Pet Safety

Please check the bed regularly for signs of damage or excessive chewing.

Remove and replace the hideaway if the fabric, filling or decorative components become loose or damaged.

Every pet behaves differently, so supervision is recommended when introducing any new fabric accessory to their habitat.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

What size is the Halloween Bat Hideaway?

The approximate external dimensions are 23 × 23 × 23 cm (9.06 × 9.06 × 9.06 in). The internal sleeping area and entrance will be smaller.

Is it suitable for guinea pigs?

Some smaller guinea pigs may fit, but because guinea pigs vary considerably in size, we don't recommend choosing based on species alone. Measure your pet first and make sure they will have sufficient space to enter, turn around and rest naturally.

Is it suitable for rabbits?

At only approximately 23 cm externally, we wouldn't recommend this hideaway for most rabbits.

Can chinchillas use it?

Check your individual pet's measurements before ordering. The bed is compact, and your pet must have enough room to enter and move comfortably.

What material is it made from?

The hideaway is made from polyester fleece, giving it a soft and cosy feel.

Is it only for Halloween?

Not at all. 🦇 Although the design is perfect for Halloween, its enclosed fleece construction makes it a fun cosy hideaway that can continue to be used throughout autumn and winter.

Is the bed washable?

The supplier describes the bed as washable. We recommend gentle cleaning with mild detergent and thorough air drying to help protect its shape and softness.
