A Gentle Children’s Book About Postpartum Emotions & Healing

Mommy’s Rainy Days is a beautifully written children’s book that helps families talk about postpartum emotions in a way little hearts can understand.

Using weather as a metaphor, this tender story walks children through the “rainy,” “cloudy,” and “sunny” seasons of motherhood, helping normalize feelings, encourage empathy, and strengthen family connection.

Created by a mother and daughter, this book gently opens conversations around:

Postpartum mood changes
Emotional healing after baby
Maternal mental health
Family support and understanding
Love that remains constant through every season

Whether you are navigating postpartum recovery, experiencing emotional shifts, or simply want to help your child understand that Mommy’s feelings change, this book provides reassurance, language, and comfort.
