(Ages 7-17) A weekly 80-minute class designed to help participants learn and apply resilience skills as they progress in their skateboarding ability. Our intermediate/advanced class is great for participants that have already mastered foundational skills. The instruction focuses on helping skaters build a well-rounded repertoire of tricks on a variety of terrain (flat ground, halfpipe/bowl, ledges/rails). Coaches work with participants to identify and work toward individualized goals such as 180 ollies, kickflips, 50-50 and 5-0 grinds, boardslides, disasters, and lipslides. Each lesson includes a 10-12 minute breakout mental skill training from one of our six domains of mental growth: Community, Purpose, Mindset, Confidence, Goals, and Focus.
