As dawn broke over the Kalahari, I stepped quietly from my tent, expecting only the hush of the desert morning. Instead, I found myself face-to-face with a magnificent male kudu—his spiraled horns catching the first light, his presence both powerful and serene. For a brief moment, we shared the same space, each of us still and alert. Then, with a graceful leap, he vanished into the brush, leaving behind a sense of awe that lingered long after he was gone.

“Majestic Kudu” is my tribute to that unforgettable encounter. Every brushstroke is informed by that morning’s light, the tension of the moment, and the deep respect I felt for this remarkable animal. Through this painting, I invite you to experience the wonder of the wild as I did: up close, unguarded, and unforgettable.
