Many of my paintings draw inspiration from the breathtaking sunrises and sunsets of Africa, as well as the vibrant rhythm of life that characterizes its timeless savannahs. One piece that reflects this deep connection is "River of Light," inspired by the stunning sunsets over the Chobe River in Botswana.

This painting transports me back to that magical moment when I witnessed a majestic elephant standing quietly by the water, its figure silhouetted against a colorful sunset that dances across the sky. In the evenings, large herds of elephants embark on their daily trek to the riverbanks, creating a mesmerizing scene where nature's tranquility meets its raw beauty. Through this artwork, I aimed to capture not only the serene splendor of the sunset but also the timeless essence of the African landscape.
