NOTE: This conversion kit does not include new side or top braces. You can re-use your existing bars, but you will need to cut the ends of these bars to the appropriate length and tap (5/16-18) them. The center upright plus two endjoints are 3.6" thick total, so if you wish to keep the rack the same length, you would need to remove 3.6" from your bars, then cut them in half.

General Procedure for standard size rack:

Measure the length of the bar, take that and subtract 3.6, then divide the result by 2.

Cut two bars to that length from your stock bar

Tap the ends of these bars with 5/16-18 tap
