As one of the oldest ratings in naval tradition, Boatswain’s Mates play a critical role in seamanship—handling deck operations, navigation support, line handling, small boat operations, and supervising deck crews.

Designed to meet the needs of service members, this insignia is durable, distinct, and easy to pair with official uniforms. Whether replacing a worn piece or completing a new set, this collar device is a key part of the Boatswain Mate’s uniform.
