This is our automatic citronella bark collar with a spray refill cartridge included in the box — so spray mode works straight away, no separate purchase needed to get started.
The collar's built-in sensor detects your dog's bark and responds automatically — no remote, no timing it yourself. In spray mode, the response escalates in steps: the first bark triggers a sound warning; if barking continues, the second bark triggers the citronella spray. If barking still continues, the collar repeats the warning and sprays twice in succession. This step-based approach means your dog gets a warning before the spray, not spray on every single bark.
A mode button cycles through response types — sound only, vibration only, sound with spray, and combined modes — so you can start gentle and add the spray response only if you need it. A separate sensitivity setting (1–5) controls how easily the collar triggers: lower for noisy households, higher for quiet ones. Setting 0 is a test mode, so you can confirm the collar is working — sound, vibration and spray — before it ever goes on your dog.
Each fill gives around 25 sprays before the display shows a low-spray warning. To refill, follow the instructions printed on the refill can: turn the collar off, stand the collar's tank on a solid surface with its nozzle facing upward, hold the refill can vertically and place its needle into that nozzle. Press firmly for five seconds, checking that liquid is going into the tank, then press for a further ten. Keep the can upright throughout — refilling with it tipped over is the usual reason a fill does not take. Charging is via USB-C, and the collar should only be charged with a standard 5V charger: anything higher can damage the circuit and battery.
Suitable for dogs aged 6 months and over, weighing 8 lbs or more. It's not suitable for aggressive dogs. Like any bark collar, don't leave it on for more than 12 hours at a stretch, and check your dog's neck weekly for any rash or irritation, cleaning the neck area and the collar's sensor at the same time.
A bark collar interrupts a bark that is already happening. It does not address why the dog started, and it is the wrong tool for a dog who barks or panics because they have been left alone, or who is frightened of fireworks or thunder — that is distress rather than a training problem, and it is worth speaking to your vet or a qualified behaviourist before buying equipment.
This bundle includes one citronella spray cartridge, so the spray response works straight out of the box — no separate purchase needed.
