Gold Breeze Miscanthus (Miscanthus sinensis ‘Gold Breeze’) brings drama and light to the garden with its bold striped foliage and graceful form. This Zebra Grass cultivar features upright blades marked with glowing gold and deep green bands, giving it the look of sunshine dancing through a modern hedge

This clump-forming grass doesn’t sprawl or take over; it grows with tidy elegance, reaching about 5-6 feet tall—perfect for adding height and contrast to borders, backdrops, or containers. As summer shifts into fall, fluffy silvery-pink plumes emerge above the foliage, waving gently in the breeze like nature’s own fireworks.

In late summer, delicate feathery plumes rise above the foliage, shifting from silvery pink to tan as fall deepens. As a standout in the miscanthus grass family, Gold Breeze weaves movement, texture, and a luminous presence into mixed borders, mass plantings, or as a vertical accent in containers. Whether you refer to it as Miscanthus Gold Breeze, miscanthus zebra grass, or simply miscanthus, this cultivar sets itself apart with elegance and reliability in your landscape.
