Turin shoemaker Superga has been building this exact silhouette since the 1920s, when the brand paired a canvas tennis shoe with a vulcanised rubber sole to create what became the 2750 Cotu Classic. This navy colourway keeps the design exactly as it was intended: a breathable cotton canvas upper over an unlined interior, so the shoe softens and moulds to the foot the more it's worn. The side carries Superga's two-tone jacquard logo tag, with the branding echoed again on the logo-printed backheel and insole and on the logo-engraved aluminium eyelets. Cotton laces thread through, in keeping with the shoe's simple, workwear-inspired construction. Underneath, the vulcanised natural rubber sole is what has kept the 2750 in daily rotation for a century - flexible and hard-wearing rather than built around modern cushioning. No animal-derived materials are used anywhere in its construction, making it a vegan-friendly choice. A low-top, lace-up trainer that goes with almost anything, from jeans to a summer dress.
