Meet the Bushwakka Nomad X — the next evolution of our wildly popular Nomad Rooftop Tent. Designed for adventurers who want the convenience of a fast, reliable rooftop setup without compromising on comfort, the Nomad X combines smart design, premium materials and clever space-saving features to create a rooftop tent that feels like home wherever the road takes you.

Available in 1.2m and 1.4m configurations, you can choose the size that best suits your camping style — whether you're travelling solo, heading away as a couple or simply want a little more room to stretch out. Every Nomad X ships with a Roam Gear 200W solar panel included.

THE X DIFFERENCE

What sets the Nomad X apart is our innovative X Hinge system, positioned at the rear end of the tent to create additional internal headroom. This clever design gives you more usable space inside the tent and makes getting changed, relaxing and moving around more comfortable.

But we didn't stop there. At the front opening of the Nomad X is an additional pop-out feature, creating even more space while giving you a spectacular new way to enjoy your surroundings.

The pop-out incorporates a dedicated skylight, allowing you to lie back and look up at the night sky from the comfort of your rooftop tent. Whether you're watching the stars, enjoying the morning light or simply taking in the view, the Nomad X brings the outdoors even closer.

BUILT FOR EASY CAMPING

The Nomad X has been designed around one simple idea — camping should be easy.

Our fast setup system means you can get your campsite ready without the fuss, while the robust aluminium honeycomb construction provides a strong and lightweight platform for your adventures. Premium 320GSM HexaTough canvas delivers durability and protection from the elements, and the certified 99% UVE-rated fabric provides excellent protection from ultraviolet exposure.

Multiple ventilation points, HVAC ports and the included rechargeable magnetic fan keep air moving through the tent, while the integrated lighting and charging system means the important comforts are already built in.

SLEEP IN COMFORT
At the heart of the Nomad X is a comfortable 3-layer mattress system, combining 50mm memory foam, a 5mm anti-condensation mat and a super-soft cotton mattress cover. You'll also receive two memory foam pillows, so your sleeping setup is ready to go from the moment you arrive.

200W SOLAR PANEL INCLUDED
Every Nomad X includes a Roam Gear 200W 12V Slimline Square Black Glass Solar Panel with a 20mm frame — so you can stay powered off-grid without buying a panel separately. The panel weighs 11kg and mounts to the two crossbars on top of the tent. Please note: your solar panel is shipped inside the tent, underneath the mattress. Lift the mattress when you first open your Nomad X to retrieve it.
