BS Magazine – Issue No. 8 (The All Women Issue) • Bitter Southerner General Store

Welcome to Issue No. 8 of The Bitter Southerner - The All Women Issue.

In this very special edition: every word, every sentence, every paragraph. Every story, every essay, every poem. Every photo. Every illustration. Every edit. Was. Made. By. A Woman.

Yes, The Bitter Southerner always shares a diverse chorus of voices. But in this scary and critical year for our country, in Issue No. 8, we've invited just the women to sing.

Close to 90 amazing women including Kacey Musgraves, Roxane Gay, Joan Baez, Toni Tipton-Martin + an A-list (top of the mountain) roster of contributors and subjects alike all sharing powerful stories about living in this world, right now, as women.

There are features, reported stories, essays, photography, poems, Q&As. We went deep, y'all. And FYI: this All Women Issue is for ALL of us.

Note: If you are a 2024 Bitter Southerner subscriber, you've already reserved your copy!
