Mares XR High Volume Single Backmount Set

The Mares XR High Volume Single Backmount Set is a complete backplate-and-wing system designed for divers who prioritise streamlined configuration, precise trim, high lift capacity and customisable equipment setup.

Featuring a 170 N (17.5 kg) donut-style wing, 3 mm stainless steel backplate and fully adjustable XR harness, this system provides a robust platform for single-cylinder recreational, XR and technical diving.

170 N High-Volume Donut Wing

The high-volume donut-style bladder provides 170 N / 17.5 kg of lift, offering excellent buoyancy control and trim throughout the dive.

The bladder uses a durable double-shell construction:

• 1000D Cordura outer shell for abrasion and wear resistance
• 210D Nylon inner bladder for lightweight durability

3mm Stainless Steel Backplate

The system includes a 3 mm stainless steel backplate weighing approximately 2.1 kg.

Smooth, rounded edges improve comfort while the stainless steel construction provides a strong and stable platform for the complete system.

The bladder position can also be adjusted vertically using the flat-head mounting bolts, allowing the configuration to be fine-tuned to the diver and cylinder setup.

Fully Adjustable XR Harness

The one-size adjustable XR harness provides a secure and customisable fit.

It incorporates:

• Stainless steel D-rings
• Stainless steel trigliders
• Metal waist buckle
• Fully adjustable webbing

K-Style Power Inflator

The wing is equipped with a K-Style Power Inflator and flexible oval-shaped corrugated hose for straightforward buoyancy adjustment.

The quick-release/dump valve can be configured on either side, providing additional flexibility when setting up the system.

Complete Single-Tank Setup

Two tank straps with durable plastic buckles are included, providing the essential components required for a single-cylinder backmount configuration.
