Our Gradient A5 Notebook Set is five notebooks in five shades of one colour, each with a different page format: lined, dot grid, graph, squared and plain. From the lightest shade to the darkest, the colour order does the organising for you.

Why we made it

We designed these for ourselves. Our Cornwall studio is full of ideas at every stage, and we needed a better way to keep them in order. So we made a set of colour coded notebooks that work as a system: a page for each kind of thinking, a shade for each stage, all kept in a sturdy card folder inspired by the traditional magazine file. Now they live on our shelves, and make a lovely notebook gift set.

FAQ

Graph or squared? Our designers use squared for sketching with a bit of structure. Graph is for technical drawing and more precise work, and its nostalgic feel makes it a favourite for scrapbook-style journaling.

Is it a true A5 notebook set? The folder is A5. The notebooks are slightly narrower so they slide in and out easily.
