STRAP UP!

The Strong Strap Stretch Latch is a universal lid lock for outdoor garbage cans. This all-purpose trash can accessory with breakthrough features from Blazer Brand transcends the bleak future of waste management.

Strong Strap keeps trash where it belongs—in the bin. Defend your cart against pests, violent winds, overflow, and other leading factors causing your would-be waste to become litter.

Strong Strap’s easy—no tools required—installation locks to any standard curbside waste container. Rugged parts are built with outdoor-ready materials adopted from the defense and housing industries. Strong Straps may be the only lid-locking device tough enough for trash.

Just loop, screw, and snap the parts into place, then stretch and quick-latch the strap to seal the lid on trash forever. Equip your home or business’ garbage can with this reliable solution for a clean, green community aesthetic minus the mess and wasted time cleaning up trash.

FEATURES

VS. OVERFLOW

”Stuffability” allows you to fit 1-3 extra bags in your trash can and crush cardboard, all while keeping the lid shut. Strong Strap™ eliminates litter from overflow, keeps recycling dry, and it's an aesthetic improvement. Learn More.

VS. WIND

There is no gust of wind strong enough to open a Strong Strap. It is 100% wind-proof.

VS. PESTS

Strong Strap™ is the most reliable one-stop solution for keeping pests out of your trash. Expect break-ins to significantly decrease. Strong Straps perform against a variety of garbage can critters:

Raccoons: Good to Excellent*
Javelinas: Good to Excellent
Skunks: Excellent
Possums: Excellent
Squirrels: Excellent**
Rats: Excellent**
Birds: Excellent
Dogs: Excellent
Bears: Poor to Good

For black bears, two Strong Straps are recommended along with a method for keeping your can upright. Results will vary – the Strong Strap is not recommended against brown (grizzly) bears. Please note, this solution is not "bear proof".

* We recommend a high-quality cart (one with a lid that is hard to bend).

** We recommend a metal trash bin
