The Moth is the latest design in our Linework Collection. This collection is where my history as a glass artist meets my work on the printing press.

For years, my work in glass (as Nick Chase) was focused on playing with texture, detail, and the natural decay of surfaces. I’ve always been drawn to the way nature "reclaims" things—the intricate patterns left by weathering, erosion, and time.

When I transitioned into illustration and screen printing for Blackhare, linework became the natural language for those ideas. I wanted to create images that felt "hyper-real" yet surreal—a visual middle ground between the storytelling of Norman Rockwell and the dreamlike intricacy of Salvador Dalí.

 The Linework Collection is about visual discovery, with graphics built on layers of detail and organic textures, so you find something new every time you look at the design.
