Start your creative journey with our wheel throwing for beginners

For ages 12 and up

(Students ages 12-16 must attend with an adult who is also registered.)

This two-hour wheel throwing pottery session gives you the perfect chance to dive into hand-made ceramics, whether you’re a total beginner or someone who’s played with clay before. You’ll get hands-on from the start as our instructors walk you through the basics of centering, shaping, and forming clay on the wheel. Bowls, cups, vases – whatever you’re inspired to create, we help you build confidence with every spin. The workshop is relaxed, supportive, and welcoming to all skill levels.

By the end of our wheel throwing workshop in Waco, you’ll pick your favorite two pieces for us to finish. We take care of the trimming, glazing, and firing so your work comes out beautifully. Your finished pieces are typically ready for pickup in about 3-4 weeks.

How to receive your finished pottery

We'll let you know as soon as your pottery is ready. Please plan to pick up your items within 30 days, so they stay safe in our studio. If you're traveling or can't make it back in person, we're happy to ship your pottery to you for an additional fee. If your pottery has not been picked up by 90 days after the class, we will dispose of it.

*All tickets are non-refundable. To reschedule or cancel, please contact us at least five days before the wheel throwing workshop. We require a minimum of three students for each session to run. 

*If your class doesn't meet the minimum one week before the scheduled date, we'll do our best to combine classes or move you to another session that works with your schedule.
