The eSpeeder 200 is a fast, efficient electric commuter and leisure bike based on Merida's popular Speeder. The motor system is almost unnoticeable when the bike is seen in profile, and smooth, drag-free assistance helps preserve your energy, making commuting far more appealing.
MAHLE's ebikemotion X35+ system uses a 40Nm rear hub motor powered by a 250Wh battery hidden in the down tube. The low system weight, carbon fork and hydroformed triple-butted aluminium frame mean it still feels lively with the motor switched off, with almost no drag when it isn't engaged. An iWoc button controls the support levels, and the MAHLE app lets you fine-tune the ride feel and review your rides afterwards.
The frame has mounts for mudguards, a rack and a neat hidden kickstand, and cables run through the frame via a dedicated headset cap for a tidy cockpit. A Shimano CUES 9-speed drivetrain and Shimano hydraulic disc brakes complete a practical, efficient package.
