The Skelta front wheel is built for riders who don't hold back. Halo tested it at Hardline, in bike parks and at trail centres, and the result is one of the toughest alloy wheels in mountain biking, without the weight penalty you'd expect from something this strong.
The rim is 6069 T6 heat-treated aluminium with a seamless welded joint and a shot-peened finish that resists corrosion and fatigue. A 30mm internal width and hooked bead give the tyre real support and security, tubeless or with tubes, and it's happy with anything from a 2.25" XC tyre to a 2.8" DH casing.
It's laced with triple-butted J-bend spokes to Halo's MT2 Boost 110 front hub, whose wide flanges add stiffness where it counts. Skelta comes in 24", 26", 27.5" and 29", so it suits standard builds as well as mullet, mini mullet and micro mullet setups. Black is available in every size, and polished silver comes in 27.5" and 29".
