The Range Grip is PNW's minimalist lock-on grip, designed to sit alongside the much-loved Loam Grip for riders who want a softer, more supple feel at the bar. Fine micro-fins across the top let your palm settle into the grip rather than sit on top of it, while a waffle pattern underneath gives your fingertips something to dig into when the trail gets rough.
It's moulded from PNW's own 25A durometer thermoplastic rubber, a compound they've kept coming back to after testing several over the years, for its balance of cushioning and durability. Inside is a recycled plastic core, made with 80% reclaimed maritime plastic. The Range also adds a co-moulded hard end and a clamp retention lip, neither of which you'll find on the Loam, so it stays put and the ends are protected.
There are two sizes. The Regular is 30mm in diameter, the slimmest grip PNW make, for a direct, connected feel that keeps you plugged into the trail. The XL is 35mm, their thickest, and adds deeper cushioning that's at its best on rough, rooty terrain and for riders with larger hands.
