The Libre CR is Kona's carbon gravel bike for riders who want a fast, light drop-bar bike that's just as composed on a rough byway as it is on a smooth back road. The geometry is stable and confidence-inspiring at speed on loose ground, while the light carbon frame keeps it lively and responsive when the road points uphill.
For 2027 the UK build moves to Shimano GRX 820 with a 42t ring and a wide-range 9-45t XT cassette, giving 1x simplicity without big jumps between gears. GRX hydraulic brakes, a DT Swiss G 1800 wheelset and an Easton EA50 cockpit round out a properly dependable spec, and the frame is UDH equipped for future drivetrain upgrades.
There's generous tyre clearance, up to 700x50c without fenders or 700x45c with them, plus mounts for fenders, bottles and a bento box, so it's equally ready for a fast gravel loop, a winter commute or a weekend away.
