The Foray MIPS is a road helmet that brings a lot of the design thinking from Giro's top-end Synthe down to a much more accessible price. It has a sleek, rounded shell with a tidy, cut-off rear, so it looks fast on the bike without drawing attention to itself, whether you're out on a sportive, a club run or your regular training loop.
Inside, a MIPS low-friction layer sits between the liner and your head. It's designed to allow a small amount of movement on certain angled impacts, helping to reduce the rotational forces that would otherwise reach the brain. The in-mold construction fuses a polycarbonate shell to the EPS liner for a strong, lightweight structure, and 21 vents with internal channelling keep air moving over your head on long, warm climbs.
Fit is handled by Giro's Roc Loc 5 system, which adjusts for both tension and vertical position and can be tweaked one-handed on the move. Removable, moisture-wicking pads keep things comfortable and can be hand washed, making the Foray MIPS a dependable, well-ventilated helmet for everyday road miles.
