The Crossway 20 is a versatile hybrid for fitness rides, commuting and relaxed trips into the countryside. Its upright riding position is comfortable and gives you a good view of the road ahead and the scenery around you.
The lightweight aluminium frame has internal cable routing and is paired with a 63mm SR Suntour coil fork to take the sting out of rough roads and towpaths. Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes give strong, consistent stopping, and the simple Shimano Essa 1x8 drivetrain with a wide 11-45T cassette means there's no front derailleur to fuss with, just one shifter covering everything from steep climbs to flat-out cruising.
The frame has mounts for a rack, mudguards and kickstand, and Merida's EQ kits are available separately if you want to kit it out for everyday use.
