If you're looking for a summer crochet blanket that's as fun to make as it is to use, this is it! The woven stitch is a classic, but this unique variation uses an oversized hook to open up the fabric into something light, airy, and perfect for warmer weather.

Whether you're making it as a housewarming gift, a treat-yourself project, or just because the season is right, this one is a great choice. Once you get the hang of the stitch pattern, it's very easy to work and moves along fast — this is the kind of blanket you can have finished in days, not weeks or months. The color block design in the sample is just a starting point — customize it with your own color story and make it completely your own.
