Nordic Ware Naturals® Big Batch™ Pan
A double batch of scotcharoos for the church bake sale, sliders for the whole team, a roast with the potatoes and carrots all around it. When the guest list grows, this is the pan that keeps up.
The details
The Big Batch Pan is the deep-sided version of Nordic Ware’s popular Big Sheet. It’s sized to fill a standard full-size home oven, about 21 by 15 inches overall, with a cooking surface of roughly 20 by 14 inches and 2-inch sides. That’s a lot more room than a 9x13, and the higher walls mean it can handle sheet cakes, bars, casseroles, and juicy roasts that would spill over a regular sheet pan.
Like the rest of the Naturals line, it’s made from pure uncoated aluminum, the same material commercial bakeries rely on. Aluminum heats quickly and evenly, so sheet cakes bake level from corner to corner and vegetables brown instead of steaming. Heavy-gauge construction keeps it flat and sturdy, even with a heavy load.
There’s no coating, so it’s oven safe to 500°F and works under the broiler. For easy release, use parchment, a silicone mat, or the classic butter-and-flour method; for roasted vegetables and meats, a little oil or butter does the job. Over time the aluminum develops a natural patina, which is normal and doesn’t affect how it bakes. Aluminum can react with acidic foods like tomato sauce and vinegar if they sit in the pan for long periods, so lining it with parchment is a good idea for lasagna or saucy dishes you plan to store.
Made in America of domestic and imported materials, made without PFAS, and backed by Nordic Ware’s Lifetime Warranty.
