Nordic Ware Kugelhopf Bundt® Pan
Tall, sculpted, and swirled like a turban, this is the cake that makes people ask where you bought it. A dusting of powdered sugar is all the decorating it needs.
The details
Kugelhopf is the rich, yeasted cake-meets-bread of Alsace, Austria, and southern Germany, traditionally baked in a tall, fluted mold for holidays and Sunday coffee. That classic shape is also what inspired the original Bundt pan, so this pan brings the story full circle. Its bold, angled ridges and swirled flutes turn an ordinary pound cake or coffee cake into a real centerpiece.
It's made from heavy cast aluminum, which bakes evenly from crust to center and captures every crisp ridge of the design. The center tube moves heat through the middle of a deep batter, so the inside bakes through without the outside overbrowning. A silicone nonstick coating, made without PFAS, helps the cake release cleanly with its details intact.
For the best release, brush the pan with butter or shortening and dust it with flour or cocoa, or use a baking spray that contains flour. Skip regular cooking spray, which can build up on the surface over time. The pan holds 10 cups, so fill it no more than three-quarters full. Hand wash with warm, soapy water and skip the long soak.
Like all of Nordic Ware's cast Bundt pans, it's made in America of domestic and imported materials and backed by a Lifetime Warranty.
