The PREDATOR GHILLIE™ SPECTRALFLAGE STARLINK THERMAL MITIGATION KIT is an advanced signature management system designed specifically to reduce and mitigate the visual, near-infrared (NIR), and thermal signatures associated with the Starlink terminal. Developed as part of the Predator Ghillie SPECTRALFLAGE ecosystem, the cover provides an equipment-level concealment solution for fielded Starlink satellite communication terminals operating in visually and thermally exposed environments.
This system is designed to reduce detectability across multiple spectrums, including visual, NIR, and thermal ranges, while disrupting the recognizable shape and surface characteristics of the terminal. The SPECTRALFLAGE material is designed to provide signature-management characteristics extending through approximately 6–15 µm, addressing significant portions of the MWIR and LWIR/FIR thermal spectrum.
The cover provides a dedicated stand-off layer between the terminal and external observation systems, reducing direct line-of-sight exposure of the terminal's surfaces and helping mitigate spectral contrast against the surrounding environment. Unlike other anti-thermal Starlink terminal covers that are in contact with the terminal and do not take into consideration of thermal loading effects. The SPECTRALFLAGE Starlink cover is specifically engineered around multi-spectral signature management and thermal loading.
The system is designed to provide visual and NIR concealment while helping mitigate the observable thermal characteristics of the operating terminal. Because the Starlink generates heat during operation(117-122F), The cover is therefore intended to reduce and mitigate thermal signature rather than eliminate heat generation.
SpaceX’s Starlink Mini provides highly portable, resilient connectivity that can support battlefield communications in remote or infrastructure-limited environments. Its compact design and satellite-based connectivity can help organizations maintain reliable links, improve coordination, and sustain communications when conventional networks are unavailable or disrupted. IF YOU CAN KEEP IT HIDDEN.

Thermal and multi-spectral performance is influenced by environmental variables including but not limited to ambient temperature, humidity, wind speed, airflow, solar load, terrain composition, terminal operating temperature, heat dissipation, atmospheric conditions, observation angle, sensor sensitivity, and sensor spectral response. Actual results may vary depending on operational conditions.
