Polyfoam hives handle heat differently to timber, and without the right protection, treatment heat can transfer through the hive wall more than you'd expect. This heat-resistant silicone insulation is designed to fit over the outlet pipe of your InstantVap oxalic acid vaporiser, helping reduce that heat transfer during treatments and protecting your polyfoam equipment.

Trim to Fit Your Setup

The silicone sleeve can be trimmed to the correct length for your specific setup, giving you a precise fit around the outlet pipe rather than a one-size-fits-all sleeve that may not sit correctly.

Important: Cutting Instructions

Cut the silicone so it does not extend beyond the outlet pipe. Overhanging insulation can cause oxalic acid to crystallise at the tip, affecting treatment performance, so trim carefully before each use.
