Hand-carved birch, hand-woven cane, and a finish that ties a whole room together.

The Meravelle is a French-inspired bed frame with the soul of an antique and the soundness of new joinery. A serpentine headboard rises into hand-carved florals and frames a panel of natural rattan; the low, curved footboard answers it. It has presence without heaviness, a centerpiece that makes the rest of the room feel considered.

A frame you can feel.
Built on a fully solid birch skeleton, responsibly sourced, properly joined, and rated to 660 lbs. Fourteen solid slats over two center rails hold your mattress directly, so there's no box spring to buy. You notice the difference the first time you sit on the edge.

Rattan, woven by hand.
Six cane panels, each one woven and bound by hand from the core of the rattan vine and set into a groove cut in the solid birch surround. The weave brings warmth and texture to the headboard and footboard, and every panel carries its own slight variation.

A finish that works with everything.
The distressed limewash is a true neutral: soft, lightly aged, and at home beside oak, walnut, painted furniture, or warm brass. It's the detail customers mention most, a finish that quietly pulls a whole room together.

Works with an adjustable base.
The fourteen slats lift straight out, so the frame becomes a surround and an adjustable base sits inside it. No extra charge, and we'll send the slats along anyway in case you want them later. Just tell us before you order so we can build it that way.

Made to be lived with.
A piece you buy once and keep, the kind of bed that earns compliments and follows you through more than one home. Backed by a three-year structural warranty on the frame, joinery and slat system.
