[RUG / CARPET] IGUSA (JAPANESE RUSH) KOHAKU | TATAMI, CARPET

Carpets that carry on traditional craftsmanship!

Made with carefully selected domestic rush grass.

Finished with care by skilled artisans.

Features a smooth surface and a weave that resists dirt buildup: the “Hikime-ori” weave.

Woven like tatami mats and stitched with a sturdy border.

Rush grass has long been used in Japan for its humidity-regulating properties, making it well-suited to the climate.

Recommended for those who wish to incorporate natural materials into daily life and for households with young children. Available in a variety of sizes, it's also perfect for redecorating Japanese-style rooms.
