Tribe Vortex Ice Bath Chiller, 1HP
The larger Tribe chiller, and the one that heats as well as cools. It runs a range of 3°C to 42°C, with 2.75kW of cooling and 3.0kW of heating from a 1.0HP system drawing 1.0kW.
Tribe publish a timing figure with its test conditions attached: a 20°C change in either direction in 4.3 hours or less, measured on 340 litres of water starting at 25°C in a 25°C room, and temperature recovery after normal use in 25 minutes or less. Filtration is a paper filter, and the pipe size is 16mm inner diameter.
Control is by mobile app over WiFi and Bluetooth, by the LCD touch panel, or on a timer. It is rated IPX4 and stated as suitable for outdoor use.
