Somewhere out in the fields past Spring Bay, is a little cottage off grid, where a lovely group of ladies sew and quilt with foot powered singer sewing machines, there’s not much traffic in the fall/winter but they sell their crafts at the end of the driveways, and we have been lucky enough to scoop some of the cutest 8 point star totes, 15”x15” with 3”x3” inside pocket. Quilted on a treadle singer sewing here on Manitoulin Island.
