The Peak El Capitan is a luxury 4-person outdoor full spectrum infrared sauna built for year-round backyard use by families and groups. It reaches a true 170°F, includes a full-body medical-grade red light panel as standard, runs from the Peak Saunas app, and ships free in a protective crate with a 7-Year Warranty.

Why people actually buy our saunas: the long game.

Regular sauna use is one of the most-studied longevity habits in the world. Researchers followed 2,315 middle-aged men for 20 years and found that those who used a sauna 4–7 times a week had 40% lower all-cause mortality and 50% lower fatal cardiovascular disease than once-a-week users (Laukkanen et al., JAMA Internal Medicine, 2015); a follow-up reported a 65% lower rate of Alzheimer’s disease (Age and Ageing, 2017). The benefit tracked with frequency — which is the entire argument for owning a sauna instead of booking one. The El Capitan is built to make that frequency effortless: a four-person outdoor cabin built to run year-round.

El Capitan — The 4-person outdoor flagship.

The El Capitan is our outdoor flagship — a weatherproof four-person cabin with thirteen heating panels, two medical-grade red-light panels, full-spectrum infrared, and a true 170°F. The most complete sauna we build.

Medical-grade red light, where it works. Two medical-grade red-light panels across the front wall — not a decorative strip — positioned for full-body coverage while seated, and designed to support skin, circulation, and recovery.

360° full-spectrum infrared heat. A hybrid of carbon FAR panels plus halogen + quartz emitters delivers near, mid, and far wavelengths (700–25,000nm) for even, full-body warmth — built to support deep relaxation and recovery.

A true 170°F. Reaches a true 170°F — well beyond the 140°F ceiling of most infrared saunas — for a deeper, more satisfying sweat.

Run it from your phone. Preheat from anywhere; adjust temperature, lighting, and session length in the Peak Saunas app (iOS & Android).

An atmosphere for the ritual. Two HiFi Bluetooth speakers, dual-level LED accent lighting, built-in chromotherapy, and a smart oxygen-ionization system that freshens the air during and after each session — plus a foot-reflexology heater for head-to-toe warmth.

Built to last. Our outdoor saunas are built with space-grade aluminum—the same high-strength, lightweight material used in aerospace applications—chosen for its exceptional durability and resistance to rust, corrosion, and extreme weather. Each panel is finished with an electroplated baked varnish coating, a multi-stage process that electrochemically bonds protective layers to the metal before sealing it with a high-temperature baked finish. This creates a sleek, UV-resistant, weatherproof exterior that won't warp, fade, or deteriorate over time, ensuring your sauna maintains its modern look and structural integrity for years to come.
