KIT ONLY - NO BOOK CLUB MEET UP

(and I haven’t quite finished my sample in the photo!! Just need to stitch the top seam of the lid!)

Locket's Book & Craft Club is continuing in 2025 - what books and crafts will we encounter this year?!! Every two months or so there will be a new book recommendation and the opportunity to pre-order the special craft box that I have put together to go with the book and come to a special Knit Group/Book Club meeting either in person at Lucy Locket Land or virtually via Zoom.

Please note, you will need to have signed up for the Craft Box to come to the Book Group meetings

The Craft Boxes will vary and you will be given an indication of what type of project it will contain. You can also choose to sign up for each one or just whichever takes your fancy - there's no tie-in.

My 5th and final book for 2025 is The Book of Beginnings by Sally Page

The project this time will be stitching, with patchwork AND "construction" involved - no other clues but I think you will like it!

There will be other goodies included in the kit but they will be a surprise - no spoilers!

The Book of Beginnings is fabulous and there is a Christmas theme for part of it too so it is perfect for this time of the year. I've attached the Amazon synopsis below:

‘Filled with compassion and insight … a true ode to friendship’ HAZEL PRIOR

‘Masterful storytelling’ CELIA ANDERSON

‘A powerful ode to friendship’ Fabulous

Her new chapter starts now…

Jo Sorsby is hiding from her past when she agrees to run her uncle’s beloved stationery shop. Glimpsing the lives of her customers between the warm wooden shelves, as they scribble little notes and browse colourful notebooks, distracts her from her bruised heart.

When she meets Ruth, a vicar running from a secret, and Malcolm, a septuagenarian still finding himself, she suddenly realizes she isn’t alone.

They each have a story that can transform Jo’s life… if only she can let them in.

The perfect gift for book lovers, The Keeper of Stories meets The Lost Bookshop in this gorgeous novel about secrets, second chances and finding friendship in the most unlikely places.
