When you invest in the Muhl Tech Pro 7 x 7, you're getting a sock net that earns its place on the field every single day.
What is the difference between a sock net and a regular batting net?
A sock net is designed to catch and absorb the ball rather than simply stop it. The net "gives" on impact, which reduces stress on the frame and netting while also softening the ball's return. This makes sock nets ideal for pitching machines, live pitching drills, and batting practice where balls are thrown repeatedly into the same target area.
Does this net work with a pitching machine?
Yes - the Muhl Tech Pro 7 x 7 Sock Net is well-suited for use with pitching machines. Its 7' x 7' frame provides ample coverage, and the #96 heavy-duty netting is built to withstand the high-speed impacts produced by pitching machines during extended practice sessions.
Is the Pro Wheel Kit easy to attach?
The optional Pro Wheel Kit is designed as a compatible add-on for this net. If you anticipate needing to move the net frequently between fields or stations, we recommend selecting the wheel kit option at checkout rather than purchasing separately later.
Can this net be used for softball as well as baseball?
Yes - the Muhl Tech Pro 7 x 7 Sock Net is suitable for both baseball and softball practice. The heavy-duty frame and netting are built to handle the demands of both sports at all levels of play.
