A wobbly, toppable, utterly unignorable little toy - made from corn leaf, twisted paper, and a coconut shell base that refuses to stay still.

Details

Small animals are wired to investigate things that move. The Wacky Wobbler leans into that instinct entirely - a cone-shaped toy wrapped in natural corn leaf and twisted paper, sitting on a coconut shell base that wobbles every time it's nudged. There's no batteries, no mechanism, just physics and curiosity doing their thing. Toss it, bat it, nose it across the floor - it always comes back for more.

Made with pet safe materials, dyes, and glue. Suitable for all small animals.

Available in green or purple - if you have a preference, pop a note at checkout. If your colour isn't available, we'll let Orla, our golden retriever, make the final call. Her standards are high and her selection process is rigorous.

A rabbit sits with its back to the camera in a sunlit wildflower meadow, ears alert, gazing out across a wide open countryside landscape with rolling hills and soft golden light. Text overlay reads "Explore further..." — an invitation to discover more about rabbit care, enrichment, and the world of Barks & Bunnies.

Why do small animals need toys that move?

In the wild, small animals spend most of their waking hours reacting to a constantly changing environment - investigating, foraging, nudging things to see what happens. A toy that stays completely still gets filed away as furniture and ignored. The Wobbler's coconut shell base means it responds to the lightest touch - a nose-nudge, a paw-bat, a curious chin-rub - and tilts unpredictably every time. That low-effort, high-reward loop is exactly what keeps a curious animal coming back to it.

Is corn leaf and twisted paper safe if my pet chews through it?

Yes - both are natural, untreated plant materials and completely safe to chew and ingest. For rabbits, guinea pigs, and chinchillas, that chewing isn't just entertainment - it's a biological necessity. Their teeth grow continuously throughout their lives, and gnawing on natural fibrous materials helps keep them worn down properly. So the destruction is actually the point.

What does "pet safe dyes and glue" actually mean?

It means every component - including the purple and green colouring and any adhesive used in construction - has been tested and confirmed non-toxic for animals that chew and ingest parts of their toys, which is most of them. Rosewood's Boredom Breaker range is specifically formulated with this in mind, so you can hand it over without a second thought.

Which small animals will get the most from it?

Rabbits and guinea pigs will toss it, bat it, and work through the corn leaf methodically. Degus, rats, and gerbils will find it equally engaging, and smaller rodents often do something rather lovely with the twisted paper trim - harvesting the shredded fibres to carry back to their sleeping quarters. Whatever species, the Wobbler tends to find its audience.
