What CE Level 1 means

Level 1 is the entry protection rating – lighter and softer, good for city riding and commuting. For more protection, choose a CE Level 2 set.

• Shoulders and elbows: EN 1621-1 Level 1 – average force passed through the pad must stay at or below 35 kN in the impact test.
• Back: EN 1621-2 Level 1 – average force passed through must stay at or below 18 kN.

Riders whose jacket came with thin foam, no armor, or worn-out inserts. Works with most leather and textile motorcycle gear that has removable armor pockets.

How to fit

1. Open the armor pocket and take out the old insert or foam.
2. Lay the old insert on top of this one, or measure the inside of the pocket, to check the size.
3. Slide the new armor in with the same side facing your body as the old insert, then close the pocket.
