Online Course: Taught by Olivia Ellis, Spinning® Master Instructor.
Explore how the language you use as an instructor can influence rider movement, technique, and confidence. Using research from Ironic Process Theory, Olivia explores why riders often respond better when instructors coach the movement they want to see rather than the movement they want to avoid. You'll learn how to identify common coaching phrases that may be unintentionally reinforcing unwanted movement patterns and discover practical ways to reframe them for better results. The course concludes with an opportunity to reflect on your own coaching style and apply these concepts in your next class.
After you enrol, you'll receive an email with a link within 24hrs to start the course and complete it at your own pace. It's not required to have a bike to complete this course. Upon completion, you'll receive confirmation of your CECs earned.
