This artwork is the result of a special collaboration between Tijanadraws × byCarolijn × atelier an.nur.

Inspired by Carolijn Braeken’s book “Motherhood - A Memoir of Our First Year,” Tijana created this intimate illustration as a tribute to all mothers, and mothers-to-be.
It captures the beauty and strength found in the quiet solitude of sleepless nights, moments of stillness, and the gentle bond between mother and child.

The glowing moon, reflecting light from the sun, is a subtle nod to an.nur - meaning “the light” in Arabic. A poetic reminder of nurturing, resilience, and love.
