Question:

Answer:

It will depend on what you are hanging the hook onto. We attached to 2x4 nailed into stud in our barn . The hooks are very strong and hold up our shovels and ladders and electric blowers
By Kit on February 7, 2017

In my opinion, YES, these hooks will hold cast iron pans. Now, if you have INDUSTRIAL size pans, maybe not. But, typical (home use), I do believe they will work for you. (If not, you can easily return them.). I hope this helps.

Question:

Answer:

No the magnet doesn't hold onto them. Which means they are higher grade stainless steel.
By JOE on October 21, 2016

Magnets don't hold onto them.
By bakuna777 on October 21, 2016

The magnets coudn't hold onto these S hooks, because they are made of premium quality 304(18/8) stainless steel which is unmagnetized steel.

Question:

Answer:

Not sure of the actual measurements but if your using them like I am to hang my jeans, then they fit perfectly and sturdy on the closet rod
By Amazon Customer on July 26, 2017

Dear Sir,
Thanks for answering, one opening is 1.4 inch(32 mm), and the other side is 1.5 inch(35 mm). Thank you!
By ESFUN on July 26, 2017

They are quite large, approximately 1 - 3/4". If you want to gauge the size, they are larger than the width of a standard shower curtain hook. I hope this help you.
By Marymar52 on July 26, 2017

I use them to hang kitchen stuff on and the opening us big enough to be able to fit on one of the bars on my metal shelving unit.
