This one-off ring sets a large oval of Flower pounamu in a four-claw 9k yellow gold setting on a split band. The stone is a soft sage green, scattered with cream and apricot blossom-like patterns and fine russet flecks. The stone is cut and polished in Greymouth, on the West Coast, and set by Malcolm Shale, a second-generation jeweller who has worked stone and jewellery since 1970. Size S/T.
