Carved from greenstone, with natural variation in colour and pattern from piece to piece, this large Hei Matau flows into two curling barbs, one at the top of the hook and one sweeping from its base, finished with a smooth, glossy polish. It is available in a light or dark variant, each with its own natural markings.

The Hei Matau represents protection, prosperity and a strong connection to te moana (the sea). Finished on an adjustable black hand-plaited cord and presented in an eco-friendly box with meaning and care cards, it is a truly cherished taonga.
