Carved from greenstone, with natural variation in colour and pattern from piece to piece. Each large Hei Matau has a broad, flowing body that flares out at the base, with a sweeping barb curling into a small inner hook, polished to a glossy finish. The Hei Matau takes the form of the stylised fish hook, worn for a vital connection to te moana (the sea), bringing protection and prosperity.

Finished on an adjustable black cord and presented in an eco-friendly box with a meaning and care card.
