Also known as the African Flameback Angelfish, this dwarf angel has a deep blue body with a bright yellow-orange head and back. It stays fairly small but should still be kept in an established aquarium of at least 60 gallons with plenty of live rock and hiding places.
Flameback Angels are active and can be territorial, especially with other dwarf angelfish. They are considered reef safe with caution and may nip at corals and clam mantles.
Feed a varied diet of marine algae, spirulina, mysis shrimp and quality angelfish food. Established live rock will also give it something to graze on throughout the day.
